Costa del Sol, Spain

Picture-postcard white towns, beaches to suit all tastes between the mountains and the sea, exquisite Mediterranean cuisine and big yachts and golf courses, the Costa del Sol stirs the soul.

Just a short flight or drive away from the UK, Spain’s famous sunshine coast is a popular choice for its fantastic all-year round warm climate. Stretching for nearly 100 miles of coastline from Almeria to Tarifa and lapped by the warm waters of the Med it is a hotspot of famed beach resorts including Torremolinos; Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona.

From its charming mountain villages such as Mijas to the cosmopolitan city of Malaga, the Costa is loaded with history and culture. Renowned for its links with Picasso in Malaga there are dozens of art galleries. It is also where gourmet cuisine is on the menu with a mixture of Michelin-star and authentic tapas restaurants. East of Malaga from Rincon de la Victoria, Torre del Mar to Nerja you can find magnificent coastline combined with white-washed villages. This region of Andalusia is as colourful as flamenco and as bold as its iconic bull fights it's no wonder the Costa del Sol is a great holiday choice and favourite destination for many.
