Sani Resort - FAQs for Weddings

Planning a wedding abroad is a daunting experience but here at Sani Holidays we will be with you every step of the way. To get you started, take a look below at some of the most frequently asked questions regarding getting married abroad and in particular getting married at the Sani Resort, Greece.

Who performs the ceremony?
The deputy Mayor of the Town Hall performs the ceremony.

I do not want to get married in the Town Hall; what other options do I have?
Upon request: you can go to the Town Hall and sign the legal papers.

On your return to the Resort Sani Holidays will arrange for a small ceremony on the grounds of the Resort, where you will read the vows again.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Unlike a wedding in the UK, this is unlikely, however in case of any unexpected weather conditions, while you have required your wedding reception to be held outdoors, we will do our best to move your wedding reception to an indoor area.

If my departure is earlier, will you send the photos and DVD to my home address?
Yes, with courier, subject to an extra charge.

Can we bring our own recorded music?
Please feel free to bring any music that you wish.

How do we get to the town hall for the wedding ceremony and back to the resort afterwards?
Taxi- transfer: 120.00 Euro/taxi, Mini bus-transfer: 285.00 Euro, Bus transfer: (48 seater) 350.00 Euro

When do we get our Marriage Certificate?
The officially signed Marriage Certificate will be given to you three working days after the wedding day. If you leave the country earlier, it will be sent to you by courier at extra charge.

What are the cancellation terms?
Any cancellation and amendments will be charged according to the cost that might occur:
21 or more days prior: no charge
20-14 days prior: 25% of the total cost
13-7 days prior: 50% of the total cost
6-1 day(s) prior: 90% of the total cost
same day: 100% of the total cost

Are there any other terms and conditions?
Wedding dates and times are subject to availability.

The wedding ceremony must be performed at the Town Hall of Kassandria; following the ceremony, you can read your vows at a venue of your choice within the resort.

Rates are subject to change without prior notice, as long as there is no mutual agreement signed.

Any services need to be pre-booked at least 30 days prior to your arrival at Sani Resort. The costs will be documented with respective invoices.
