Sani Resort - Sani Gourmet Festival

The gastronomic Sani Gourmet Festival is a popular addition to the events programme at Sani Resort. The annual Festival which has now run for over a decade, is a culinary celebration that brings together some of the finest Chefs from Greece and Worldwide.

The Sani Gourmet festival has proved successful and continues to reach new heights, enticing visitors from all over the world. Each year Michelin Starred Chefs and up and coming chefs join the acclaimed line up at the Sani Resort premier restaurants to create delightful dishes that will amaze everyone. Over the five day festival which takes place in May, Sani guests are treated to a number of gourmet related workshops, including; wine tastings, presentations and cooking demonstrations.

The 2022 Sani Gourmet event will be 'A CELEBRATION OF THE GREEK CULINARY SCENE'. Some of the top chefs in Greece, Ambassadors of the Contemporary Greek Gastronomic Culture will be in attendance over the five days and will be cooking up a storm in Sani's renowned dining venues.

Sani Resort Celebrates Gastronomy and the Greek Culinary Scene with its 15th Annual Sani Gourmet event, welcoming guests to a five-day foodie extravaganza from 20-24 May 2022.

Since 2006, Sani Gourmet has brought together cultures, flavours and traditions from around the globe, with each year dedicated to a new gastronomic theme. This year celebrates the talents of Greece’s top contemporary chefs with carefully curated five-course dinners paired with fine wines.

Four of Sani’s restaurants will showcase ten talented chefs including multi-awarded Sotiris Evaggelou from Salonica Restaurant in Thessaloniki who will be cooking up dishes at Fresco , Sani Dunes’ Italian restaurant, best known for its elegant and refined dishes created by Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini. Other Sani Resort restaurants at Sani Gourmet include: Water, the gastronomic flagship of Sani Resort, which offers a distinctive Mediterranean and French cuisine. Tomata, a modern Greek restaurant at Sani Marina, which boasts a truly innovative menu from Chef Karamolegos, who serves up freshly barbecued meats and fish & Asian at Sani Marina, headed up by Chef Thiou who is renowned across France for her Paris restaurant. Here guests can enjoy Thai-Fusion Asian cuisine, with dim sum and local seafood all featuring on the menu.

    Adam Kontovas Executive chef of Alali restaurant in Santorini and Head Chef of Kobra, Adam Kontovas’ modern creations are creatively grown from Mediterranean roots.
  • 20-21 MAY, FRESCO
    Gikas Ksenakis Championing local produce, Xenakis is the Head Chef at the Aleria, turning classic plates into inventive contemporary cuisine.
  • 20-22 MAY, TOMATA Vasilis Mouratidis Executive chef Squirrel & Andromeda Restaurants in Halkidiki, Vasilis Mouratidis has won multiple awards for his contemporary style, combining Asian flavours with Mediterranean cuisine.
