Limassol, Cyprus

With a reputation for fine hotels and sophisticated restaurants, Limassol is a popular choice with Holidaymakers to Cyprus. The region boasts traditional villages and outstanding archaeological sites plus in the Troodos foothills with famous vineyards and well-marked wine routes. A great destination for families Limassol has various amusement parks including the island’s largest water park. It is also easy to explore, its city centre is compact stretching 1km from the old castle, cathedral and harbour to the Municipal Gardens in the west.

Limassol promenade runs along the coast from the Old Port and passes through a lovely sculpture park dating from the start of the millennium. The 16km pedestrian and cycle path links the old town with sandy beaches further east. Limassol is also one of the best places to eat out in Cyprus with an eclectic range of quality restaurants serving good traditional Greek/Cypriot food and specialist fish restaurants.
