Holidays in Lefkas and Meganissi
The beautiful Ionian island of Lefkas (or Lefkada) lies close to the mainland and is in fact now connected by a tunnel,making the short transfer from Preveza airport even more convenient.
The quiet resort of Aghios Nikitis offers an idyllic and peaceful retreat whilst Perigali is even quieter but is within striking distance of Nidri or Lefkas Town should you wish for a livelier evening.
'Seen from Nidri harbour, the island of Meganissi lies south of the Ionian Archipelago, it's natural beauty largely unchanged. The tiny villages of Spartohori, Katomeri and Vathi are linked by a pleasant hours walk, with accessible beaches and coves waiting to be explored.
