Holidays in Polis
Follow the coast northwards from Paphos and you'll come across the charming village of Latchi and Polis.
Latchi, is very much still a fishing village that lies along a peaceful coastal road and is reputedly the place to taste the freshest seafood on the island. There's a smattering of cafes, restaurants and shops as well as a long sandy beach.
A five minute drive takes you into Polis which is slightly larger but with no less charm and a few more tourist establishments.
Close by is the beautiful Akamas Peninsular, a vast area of incredible natural beauty with an abundance of wildlife and unusual flora and fauna. The villages are surrounded by citrus trees and olive groves and capture the true essence of the 'unspoilt' Cyprus.
