Holidays in Lardos

A friendly village located inland on the southeastern side of the island, Lardos combines a traditional village life in the delightful setting with a wonderful stretch of sandy beach about two kilometres from the village. Lardos sits within easy access to the delightful town of Lindos with its Roman architecture, interesting Acropolis and a long sandy beach. Life centres around the pretty tree-lined village square which is the heart of Lardos. This is where the friendly locals drink strong Greek coffee, or the stronger ouzo, and chat the day away. There are a couple of tavernas serving sumptuous home cooked food. Occasionally live bands and musician play at the village square, but most evening entertainment can be found at the hotels or in the nearby Lindos.

Surrounded by lush green hills and tamarisks offering fresh scent and natural shade, the pretty Lardos beach has soft powdery sand and pebbles with clear Aegean waters.
