Ideally located on the western coast of Rhodes about 7 km from the Rhodes Town, Ixia is a modern purpose-built holiday resort which is home to some of the most prestigious and luxurious hotels in Rhodes. Boasting a lovely long shingle beach that has been noted worldwide, Ixia is popular for its water sport. It is particularly good for windsurfing and sailing due to the relatively windy sea - and another popular pastime is to hire a boat and explore the nearby coastal areas. All luxury resorts offer a variety of swimming pools which are ideal if travelling with little ones as the sea can get a little challenging.
