Unknown and untouched, Halkidiki is gloriously located on a triple-finger shaped peninsula in the northern part of the main island of Greece stretching out into the Aegean Sea. In the east, the mystified Mount Athos is home to many Halkidiki’s monasteries which are not open for visitors. The best way to explore this easternmost part of Halkidiki is by boat along its shores.
